About
Ben Baena is a legal advocate and problem solver with experience in land division and planning, municipal law, property law, and condominiums.
Ben completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph in Geography and Environmental Governance. Ben attended law school at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2016. During law school, Ben worked for the City of Guelph’s legal department and Smith Valeriote LLP.
Following his call to the Bar in 2017, Ben practiced law in Guelph and Toronto, focusing on condominium law, administrative tribunal advocacy, and municipal law.
In 2023, Ben started his own law practice to provide personalized, accessible, and practical legal solutions to clients in Ontario. Ben believes in advocating for marginalized groups and underdogs and devotes much of his practice to providing pro-bono legal advice.
In addition to the law, Ben is passionate about the plumbing trade and motorcycles. In his spare time, he is usually found working towards his plumbing apprenticeship or tinkering around in the garage.
